The new chassis is legal for up to 7.5 seconds on the drag strip and designed to take the rigours of road and race use with a Blown Big Block chevrolet.
The CDS full tube chassis incorporates a funny car style roll cage, Strange Engineering front struts, 4-link heavy duty rear suspension, TH400 transmission and a Jaguar power steering rack.
The interior has additional mounts for 2 Kirkey aluminium seats
The body can now be mounted onto the chassis and the rear tubs can be seen in the picture below.
Next stage is to complete the tinwork and refit the suspension, axle, wheels etc.
