                                       TERMS & CONDITIONS

1   Warranties

All goods are sold with a 30-day warranty against defects,with exception of the following three sections which carry no warranty whatsoever:-

a)  Any electrical item whether new or remanufactured, including Batteries.

b)  Any item used in connection with racing or any competitive event.

c)  Any part not paid for in full, or by the due date (for account Customers).

Any claim for warranty replacement must be made to Hauser Racing in writing within seven days from the date the problem is first detected.

We reserve the right to either replace or repair the said item at our discretion or offer a refund if a replacement is not available.

We reserve the right to deduct an amount deemed reasonable from any agreed refund which reflects the amount of use the Customer may have had from the said item from the date of purchase to the time when the claim is made.

Occasionally the manufacturers print extended warranties on their packaging. These are only applicable to purchases made with the domestic USA and cannot be offered by Hauser Racing. Under no circumstances can Hauser Racing be held responsible for any consequential loss, damage, injuries, costs or expenses whatsoever that arise from goods purchased from us and in particular if the goods were used in any competitive event.

 

2   Returns and Refunds

a)All returns must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please contact us to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before making any return.

b) Additionally, the purchase invoice number must accompany all returns. Failure to provide the RAN or invoice details will invalidate any claim.

c) No goods supplied on a Special Order basis are eligible for returns unless supplied incorrectly by Hauser Racing.

d) Refunds can only be made from Monday to Friday.

e) Carriage charges are not refundable.

f) A 15% restocking charge will be levied on all returns accepted by Hauser Racing if the customer incorrectly ordered the parts.

g) We reserve the right to refuse any return if the part is without packaging or the packaging is in a condition deemed unfit for resale.

 

3   Special Orders

a) Hauser Racing shall require up to 100% deposit on goods that have to be specially ordered; i.e any item that is not currently available from stock. 

b) Special orders may require written confirmationfrom the customer before they can be taken.

c) No special ordered part can be cancelled once processed, unless Hauser Racing has written confirmation from the USA that this possible.

d) We are not responsible for any delays to delivery of parts caused by hold ups at airports, customs or delivery company errors.

 

4 Quotations and Pricing

a) Where written quotations are provided, the prices are normally valid for a period of 60 days, but may be subject to change without notice at the manufacturer's discretion.

b) Prices quoted for parts in stock shall be the price in Hauser Racing's retail price list.

c) Hauser Racing will endeavour to give 10 working days notice of any price increases.

d) All prices quoted will be excluding VAT unless noted otherwise.

e) All prices are quoted excluding carriage.

 

5   Payment terms

a) All goods must be paid for in full before dispatch unless approved credit has been authorised.

b) Title of goods remains with Hauser Racing until payment is received in full.

c) Credit Accounts-goods must be paid for in full on or before the last day of the month following the month in which the original purchase invoice was issued.

 

6   Shortages

Any shortages from deliveries must be notified to Hauser Racing within 24 hours of receiving the respective order. After this time Hauser Racing assumes all orders are correct and complete and no further correspondence can be entered into.

7. Electronic Disconnection

It is the responsibility of the customer to disconnect all sensitive electrical equipment from their vehicle prior to the vehicle being worked on. This includes ECU and engine management systems, Ignition systems ( such as MSD's ), data logging equipment, in car computers, stereo equipment and any other devices which may be sensitive to high voltage or earth spikes caused when welding.

8. Storage charges

Daily storage charges of £10 + vat will apply to any vehicle not collected and paid for within 2 weeks of completion date. No vehicle may be removed until the work has been paid for in full. If paying by cheque then funds must be cleared before vehicle is removed.
